October 31, 2009 I'm not sure that we'll ever get this done before it's time to leave. The entire boat has been wiped down in and out. We found out we can only have 1 checked bag each on our Sydney to Hawaii leg. It will cost $250. for each extra bag. We are not flying Quantas...it's Jetstar or something like that, operated by Quantas. Well, so much for ' CHEAP' tickets. Bargains are not always so great!! So vanilla yogurt, tim tams, wetsuits, magic rocks, shells, ect will have to stay sa...

September 30, 2009 It sure is an eye opener to have an early morning wakeup call that a tsunami is heading your way. Got our attention, thank goodness it all ended well. This place is beautiful an atoll, several islands linked by bridges, and MILES of white sand beach. Reminds us of the Tumotos a bit. We have tried for 2 days to rent a car at the hotel down the way, but for some reason they just cannot seem to get it together. The rally did an island 'bus' tour yesterday, you know we ...

September 5, 2009 Pentecost Island We are in Bwantnapne  Bay 15* 39'.782S/168*07'.075E,  we dropped anchor and went to shore. There to greet us, was Allen Burle's grandaughter with our boat card in hand from last year. She was just a smilin' looking at the card and then us. Chief Allen was so thrilled to see Jim he just hugged and hugged. There wasn't time today for him to fix us a meal today so we will go in for breakfast in the morning. He was so excited about the school suppl...

August 17, 2009 Wind is still kicking up a bit, but somehow these flies have learned to navigate in 25kt wind. It has been a rock and roll anchorage everywhere we have been for the last week. At the moment we only have a one day weather window and not sure if we want to chance it trying to get to the Solomons. So we may be around this area for 5 or so more days. Jim and Priscilla talk with the immigration and customs people this AM an there is no problem if we have to stay around. Yesterday ...

August 4, 2009 We came back to Luganville to check out, all is OK with David and we got the money back. Tomorrow am we are going to the fuel dock, fill up and head North. Hopefully weather will hold for us. Today has been a nice day, but no time to really enjoy it.......tomorrow. We sat by the pool and had drinks with Tom and Suzie this afternoon. Probably the last luxury place for long time. Got a note from Lesley, she is really sick, hope she can keep going with no fever. TankU tomass fo...
